Are You Drinking Enough Water?

Are you informed?

Ephesians 5:29 says, “For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.” The thing is a man can only care for his body to the degree he is appropriately informed about it.

I Devoloped a Bad Habit

And in my post of 11 Healthy Good Habits I had cited 3 John 2 to explain how John desired the recipient of his letter, Gaius, to be in good health, as it went well with his soul. That is my desire for you. I had developed a bad habit of preparing a full pot of coffee for myself to drink throughout my mornings each day. The current day recommendation for coffee intake is one to two cups per day. So I had to make a hard decision. I’ve cut back to half a pot today to keep from getting caffeine headaches. My goal is to get down to 1 cup for me each day (I’m also a tea drinker). I struggle with physically induced fatigue due to chronic pain. So I can anticipate being more tired in the future. In the future, I plan to just give my body the rest it needs when it needs it. This may lead to less productivity but at least I’ll be taking care of my body as it needs it.

How about Yourself?

Are you taking in an abundance of other fluids instead of an abundance of water?  Abundant water helps to remove waste from your body and it also helps with metabolism. You can only benefit from giving your body what it needs.
