A Life Posture of Worship

Worship as a Lifestyle

To know not just what you believe in but in whom you believe in is power for the Christian. From it, the Lord can't help but be worshipped by his followers. All power, glory, honor and majesty are due Jesus Christ.

Worship as Obedience to a Command

In Luke 10:25-28 Jesus is dialoging with a lawyer who stood up to put him to the test, 'And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How do you read it? " And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." And he said to him, "You have answered correctly; do this and you will live."

When anyone surrenders their life to Jesus Christ for salvation, they become a worshipper of God. And Jesus, as the focal point for that salvation gets all the credit. Once born a again into the kingdom of God, there's a dedication that enters a persons life. They can't get the good Lord out of their mind. He is the source of all goodness and strength. But consistency takes development.

How Have You Chosen to Remain Consistent in Your Walk with the Lord?

I've chosen to dedicate the beginning of my days to fellowship with the Lord. I enter my time with him in singing praise and then I'll concentrate on a scripture or Bible readings to focus me from devotionals I go through. I have many of them to choose from. I highly recommend you spend your waking time in the morning with the Lord.
