In 3 John 2-4 it says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the bretheren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 01. DAILY DEVOTIONAL TIME OF PRAISE, PRAYER AND BIBLE STUDY
A time of combined praise, prayer and Bible study gives a good start to spiritual, insightful, and steady focus of positivity and stress management for the heavenly minded.
02. EXERCISE
Engage in physical activity regularly. Have an appointment with a qualified medical practitioner before starting an exercise program to develop an exercise routine appropriate for you.
03. AVOID TOBACCO, ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
Refrain from using tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and steer clear of recreational drugs.
04. GET ENOUGH SLEEP
Good sleep hygiene promotes better physical health, mental sharpness, and emotional well-being.
05. EAT A HEALTHY, SPECIALIZED DIET WITH LOTS OF VEGETABLES
Consume a variety of nutrient rich foods. Aim for a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
06. PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE
Wash your hands, take care of your teeth and take regular showers.
07. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
Abundant water intake flushes your body of waste and helps with metabolism.
08. AVOID EXCESSIVE SUGAR AND JUNK FOOD
Good nutrition is not just about maintaining nutritious food intake but it’s also about keeping out the bad stuff.
09. LIMIT SCREEN TIME
Take breaks from phones, computers and TV to rest your eyes and stay active.
10. GET REGULAR CHECK-UPS WITH SIGNIFICANT CAREGIVERS
Regular health screenings and check-ups can help detect potential health issues early on, allowing for timely intervention and better management of health concerns. Talk to your pastor about prayer requests too.
11. ESTABLISH A ROUTINE
Predictability lowers cortisol, routines strengthen frontal cortex, consistent patterns regulate circadian rhythm, and repetition builds efficiency.
12. Live by 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:
"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
